A Six Birds' Eye View of Quantum Theory: Operational Closure Semantics for Measurement, Contextuality, and Record Stability
Collapse as packaging, not as physics.

Standard quantum mechanics mixes two things: how the state evolves and how you update what you know. Mixing them makes collapse and Schrodinger's cat look like physical jumps.
The paper separates them. Causal dynamics live on the substrate. Packaging is an idempotent closure that stabilizes records in a chosen record basis.
Dephasing is such a packaging map, and its fixed points are exactly the classical record states. Route mismatch between evolution and packaging is zero when the Hamiltonian is diagonal in the record basis and nonzero otherwise. Double slit, eraser and a measurement chain are worked through with Lean proofs and Python.
What it shows
- Dephasing as idempotent packaging.
- Route mismatch as a computable diagnostic of measurement.
- A global state near pure while the packaged record is classical.
What it does not claim
No new physics is proposed; the paper reorganizes the standard account.
